Seneca is an RPG set in a world without speech. You play as Astrid, a 16-year-old girl searching for her missing friend. While looking for her, you discover secrets about your village and the technology you use to communicate, and stumble upon a secret world.
We released a demo of Seneca for NYU's annual End of Year Show. I designed the world and plot and wrote characters and dialogue.

I've created games in Twine, Adventure Game Studio, ChoiceScript, and Inform. Here are a few samples:
Think for Her
"God help England if She had no Scots to Think for Her."

Though I'm usually on the digital side, I've created several board games as part of my master's in game design. The games pictured here were shown at NYU's End of Year Show:
Sundered Hearts: A tabletop RPG about pirates, romance, adventure, and singing!
Royal Menagerie: A resources-management and gift-giving game about deception.
Before pursing game design full-time, I was an enterprise journalist. I focused on long-form, business, sports, and crime. My work was published in:
The New York Times
Salon
Kotaku
The Tampa Bay Times
College Longreads
The Indiana Daily Student
I won several awards for writing and reporting and covered a number of beats in internships and full-time work.
